The numbers given in their descriptions arent really a capacity, but rather a suggestion of what the designer believes will provide the most dynamic reel action of that model. Even within same brand models the defining difference is usually body changes that will govern how much line can efficiently be placed on the spool. Would have saved you some time had you read it.Įvery reel has it's own individual dimensions, from spool core to outer casing, etc. Respectfully, what you told me does not seem to be accurate. Okay back to the original comment on the lowDexMg 1000 s Of the 3lb mono on the wincast 1500 I can get 273 feet which is 91 yards. I can get on the wincast 1500 with a 4 lb mono line 243 feet which is 81 yards. Thing is that reel does not equal out to that, look at the pictures I have. So that would mean 3lbs with 80 yards i.e. Now you told me the first number is the pound of the line, second number is how many yards. So I looked at another reel I have, since I have three setups so far in the game, only on level 11 going to 12. So I went online to a calculator to see how many feet 100 yards is and 100 yards is 300 feet. You said: 2/100 means 100 yards of 2lb test
